Is Arena secure?

Private keys are never stored on any of Arena's servers or databases.

Arena wallets are secured using Multi-Part Computation (MPC) technology, which is a cryptographic technique that is trusted by institutions & used to secure billions worth of assets.

MPC wallets provide greater security, and flexibility over standard EOA wallets. It works by splitting private keys across across multiple locations so that it is never exposed to, or stored by a single entity.

This method ensures that no one ever has access to any private keys.

Why do I need to deposit funds into my Arena account first?

Arena spins up a new MPC wallet which enables you to have one account for multiple chains, including different layer 1 blockchains.

These accounts also enable our product to execute advanced & automated order types such as limit orders without requiring you to deposit funds into a smart contract or wrapping ETH.
